The leading worldwide producer and distributor of premium branded automotive, commercial and industrial lubricants, and automotive chemicals Valvoline Inc. hired us to develop a custom onboarding guide that can be used during the orientation portion of onboarding by Valvoline HR team, its employees, contractors and agents an unlimited number of times. We decided that an iPDF was the best solution to help provide a more comprehensive onboarding experience and a positive first impression to new employees through refreshing the “Day 1” portion of their onboarding process. Our main reason was lack of high-speed internet within target audience. We aimed to put the user in driver's seat of their career at Valvoline. This guide is intended to help them get started in the right direction. iPDF was appreciated for the wide functionality of the iPDF allowing the users to have a consistent approach that facilitators, managers and leaders can leverage when working with a new hire through the orientation experience.
